ACD/NMR Processor Academic Edition has basic and advanced functions for processing 1D and 2D NMR data from any instrument quickly and efficiently. Use ACD/NMR Processor at the instrument, or away from the lab, to carry out basic spectral manipulations, attach chemical structures and assign correlations, handle spectral series, add or subtract. The number of options and features in ACD/2D NMR Processor are extensive. However, this does not mean that the simple processing of a 2D NMR spectrum needs to be complex. The following document will outline how to perform the basic preparation tasks for a 2D NMR spectrum with ACD/2D NMR Processor. ACD/1D NMR Processor imports NMR filter identifiers (FIDs) or vendor processed data from various software programs, such as those from Jeol, Bruker, and Varian. This freedom from vendor formats serves as an advantage because it is possible to manage data from several NMR laboratories regardless of spectrometer type.

Setup and Installation
Cut and paste the link (including the beginning two ) into your Run command found under the Start Menu (if you're using Win10, then copy the link, press the Window key and then ctrl+v) and press enter.

This should now bring up a file explorer window
Double click on setup.exe to initiate installation.
You will be prompted to enter license server name or IP address on step 3 of the install (after accepting the license agreement). Enter 130.101.9.4, leave the rest of the default values and complete the installation.
You will need to be connected to UAkron to use this version of ACD. To use from home you will need to VPN into campus.

Opening Network Files
FID data files saved to the network drive will not open directly with ACD because of the way the software checks file permissions. You will need to copy the .fid folder to your local machine and open the copy.

Free Nmr Processing Software
Under the terms of the agreement, JEOL will supply a one-year subscription of ACD/Spectrus Processor at no cost to academics, and for an incremental fee to industry. ACD/Labs’ industry-standard software that predicts spectra from structure (ACD/NMR Predictors) and popular advanced processing, interpretation, and databasing application (ACD/NMR Workbook Suite) will also be available to JEOL customers at an incremental cost.
